Payment of Invoices Wightbyte Computers requires immediate payment of all invoices with the exception of where specific credit terms have been agreed. All work completed carries a 28 day guarantee unless otherwise stated. Any work that requires attention should be reported by telephone and confirmed immediately in writing. Faulty Goods Wightbyte Computers will not accept the return of any faulty items without their original packaging along with the accessories, software and documentation that came with the product. Data Protection Act 1998 By reference of the Data Protection Act of 1998 Wightbyte Computers reserve the right to appoint third party suppliers, debt collection and tracing agents to assist with the processing of any credit application and in the event of any future default or any breech of any terms or conditions. The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998
Wightbyte Computers has an accounting policy which includes the terms of the above act.The rate of interest claimed will be in accordance with the Act at a percentage of 8% minimum or above The Bank of England base rate. In the event of any amount falling due a collection fee will be charged in accordance with the Office of Fair Trading guidelines and interest will be added and charged at a daily rate. Payment by credit or charge cards will incur a 3% charge.
